E-Safety at St James

Everyone at St James is committed to ensuring that children stay safe when using technology both in school and at home.

Pupils use a variety of technology during lessons to support their learning. Alongside the e-safety curriculum, 'Think SMART' is the main message pupils are taught to keep them safe whilst online,

An explanation of this can be found below.

Acceptable Use Agreements

We discuss with children how we use the equipment correctly in school and ask children and parents to sign an Acceptable Use Agreement. These are differentiated based on the ages of the children in school. Reception and Key Stage One children have a more simplified version than the children in Key Stage Two.
