Children will be unable to physcially participate in PE if they have their ears piereced. They will need to cover their earrings with tape and will participate in other ways, which may mean that they have different roles assigend to them in physical PE lessons. If children wear earrings for religious purposes, please contact school to discuss how we can support you and your child.

PLEASE CHOOSE TO HAVE ANY EAR PIERCINGS AT THE START OF THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS AS THIS WILL GIVE SUFFICIENT TIME FOR EARRINGS TO THEN BE REMOVED AFTER THE PROCEDURE AND BEFORE TERM STARTS. THIS IS SOMETHING WE WILL BE MONITORING CLOSELY. IT IS NOT APPROPRIATE TO USE 'I DIDN'T REALISE AND NOW THE EARRINGS MUST STAY IN' AS AN EXCUSE. ANY CHILD COMING TO SCHOOL WEARING EARRINGS WILL BE ASKED TO COVER THEM WITH TAPE.
